F Lux Gaming Mode

Page 1 of 2 - f.lux - posted in Technology: Ive been using a program for the past couple of years called f.lux. It turns down the blue light at night to reduce eye strain. The colors may seem really off and/or bad for the first week or so of using it, but its worth it. If you try going back to your non-f.lux way of living, you will wonder how you survived. (Note: If you play TF2 in borderless. A wider range of color settings (including very cool colors) You can tell f.lux to disable when particular apps are running, or when watching fullscreen movies and games. There are new hotkeys to adjust color a little bit at a time (Alt+Shift+PgUp and Alt+Shift+PgDn) What’s fixed: Reduced impact on game framerates. Since then I can't use f.lux properly. When I start playing a game in fullscreen mode and going back to Desktop (while game is running) f.lux and the new Night Light Mode turning off. I don't use both at the same time. Neither f.lux or Night Light Mode works when I playing a game. Before the update I could use f.lux perfectly fine. Windows 10 has a Night Light mode, and the program f.lux is able to do a similar job. Some monitors even have an additional setting that makes the light easier on a user’s eyes. For example, Philips uses Low Blue mode, Benq has Low Blue Light mode, and HP has Blue Light filter. All of these soften the brightness of the light at the monitor.
