Gold Canyon Reviews

Gold Canyon in southern Arizona offers a varied landscape of golden sands and a sea of cacti — it’s no wonder the phenomenal 1994 Blind Justice was filmed here! The home of Jay Winters truly captivates people for trail experiences, or simply enjoying the solitude of mountain wilderness, and golf lessons. Gold Canyon is a video slot powered by Betsoft software provider. It is a beautifully designed game that draws the inspiration from Wild West, and features 5 reels and 20 paylines. Definitely a retirement town and not necessarily a good place for youth due its lack of opportunity and access to jobs. However, it is a charming and relaxing town that includes golf courses and local amenities, and is also within 20 minutes of bigger shopping centers and cities.
I’ve lived in Gold Canyon for about 10 years two different houses and I have loved each neighborhood. However, the drive time is crazy! Entrada Del Oro is a very far commute from Apache Junction. I love Gold Canyon I just wish that it was closer.
I would like to see it open more businesses and be more family friendly. I would like more families in the community and to be able to have it recognize that it is a family area and not just a winter visitor place to be. The community needs to focus on its full-time residents and not part-time residents. We need more stores, businesses, restaurants and community areas for families and children. The schools also need to improve and focus on improving their education and relations with the community.

Not to much police action out in Gold Canyon besides speeders, and the once in a while drunk driver. It's an all around great area. The people are so nice that we have a neighborhood homeless man that mostly everyone in the town knows. Most of the community offer him money and clothes when there's something to spare.
Gold Canyon used to be a retirement area with the golf resort being the major interest of the town in the early 2000's. Now that the prices of housing has come down families are moving in which gives the town a fresher look. There's newer businesses then there used to be about 20 new places opened up from dentistry to restaurants and to car washes. The general atmosphere of the town is still quiet with the new faces coming in but give it another couple of years and it can change in a positive aspect. If I chose to live here again I would do it but later on when younger families started to move in, I missed most of my childhood because the gated community I lived in was housed by senior citizens. Ranking this area from everywhere else in the country is hard to say but I believe it stands in the middle because the town is still growing. I see a lot of growth in this area, already the population is severely different as well as the businesses that have flourished in the few years that they've been opened.
I've never had any problems, I've only heard of a few isolated incidents.

I would definitely live here again, good neighbors, quiet lifestyle
It is a small town near a large city so has the perks of both.
